The new school for young children, JB International Kindergarten, will be opening its doors during the beginning of January 2007. Located in Esplugues de Llobregat (Barcelona), Blossom is found in a very calm area. Its large building is surrounded by more than 1500m2 of private garden; an exterior space which gives the children the opportunity to be in constant contact with nature. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia educational philosophy, this new school offers its students, from 4 months to 6 years of age, a multilingual education, in which English, Spanish and Catalan will be taught through linguistic immersion. Blossom was created due to the need of a new educational concept for the young ones, which respects their natural development, their personal interests, their personal needs, and their capacity to be the builders and architects of their own knowledge. Through the rich environment created for a curious and competent childhood, the different moments of the day are organized in a way to offer the children significant experiences which will promote their learning process.
